Enjoying This Magical Ride
During one of my recent support circle conference calls, we did a healing meditation lead by my dolphin guides. I was sitting at the beach, watching the surf roll in, and I was inspired to share this wave of relaxation with my callers. Each person on the call had shared what was up for them this month-stresses, worries, and concerns over finances, jobs, relationships and health. Since we were all still recovering from the holidays, I knew we needed some quality time to relax and “dive deep”.
Once I realized we needed to do a dolphin meditation, I started by calling in the spirit dolphins to help each one of us clear our energy fields and release anything negative that was hovering. As I asked each caller to breathe deeply and relax, and imagine small spirit dolphins swimming into their space, I could see them in my mind’s eye — small golden and crystal dolphins beginning to swim in spirals around each of us. I was hoping that each caller would have their own experience of this dolphin healing energy, and share it with the group when we finished. I was not disappointed!
Most callers said they felt very relaxed and happy afterwards. But one caller gave us a special surprise! She “saw” an image of herself standing in front of the Blue Bayou restaurant at Disneyland Park, near the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, as if she were standing in line, waiting for her turn on the ride. Of course she was perplexed by this image, not understanding what it meant. So I tuned into her energy and asked her guides what this image meant for her. She has been experiencing an inordinate amount of stress in her life in the past six months, more than most people could stand, and still manage to smile. Finances, stress, health issues for her and her husband, car trouble, hospital bills, bank notices — you name it, she’s had it. And all of us would be asking “When will this end? When will my life turn around, while I keep the faith, keep on taking a step forward each day?” The answer I got for her was the best gift anyone could have received that day, in the form of hope and encouragement! Her dolphin guides said to me “her life is about to become a magical ride-like Pirates of the Caribbean, magical, fun and filled with joy and laughter!” I was thrilled! What a delightful promise of change this was for her. When I shared it with her and the rest of the group, everyone laughed. And that was the point-to share laughter and joy, thanks to the dolphins. This image of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride has made me laugh at times when I was stuck in my own worries, and I want to share it with you here. Your life can become a magical ride too, if only you choose to think of it that way, to flip your thinking around so that every new thing that comes up is an adventure instead of a problem, that every challenge is a new turn in the ride, and sometimes you get splashed, but it’s only water. I’m inviting you now to take a magical ride with me. YO-HO-HO!
